The purpose of this day is to Raise awareness and generate change for the 300 million people worldwide living with a rare disease, their families and carers. February was officially declared Rare Disease Month in 2008 with February having the “rarest” number of days. What Is A Rare diseases?? Rare dieases means diseases which remains unknown are called rare diesease which cause approximately 7,000 rare diseases affecting  between 25 and 30 million Americans .
